47 Sidewalks will Be Repaired This Year

47 sidewalks that spread in all sub-districts will be repaired this year. To realize it, Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. has prepared Rp 400 billion.

Jakarta Bina Marga Jakarta Dept. Head, Yusmada Faizal explains one point of sidewalk will be repaired in each sub-district, including in two sub-districts, Seribu Islands.

The repair will be carried out by widening the sidewalk up to 3-4 meters. Currently, it has not entered the auction stage because the administration is still being prepared.
"Total length of the sidewalk that will be fixed in Jakarta is 2,600 km. Last year, we fixed 48 km," he expressed.
The sidewalk location, he furthered, will be set by each sub-dept. This is because the nomenclature recording is only improvement in sub-district.
"In overall, sidewalk that has been fixed and is targeted this year is about 108 km or equivalent to 4.1 percent of the total that must be fixed," he finished.
